NYC Special Inspectors

The New York City Department of Buildings requires all construction projects undergo special inspections. These inspections are conducted to ensure all construction work is performed and completed in compliance with building codes and NYC Department of Building approved plans and specifications. All special inspections must be performed by an International Accreditation Service Special Inspection Agency.

IAS ensures that the organization operates at the highest level of ethical, legal, and technical standards. Alan Margolin & Associates is proud to be an IAS accredited agency, thus providing safe and reliable products and services.
