The architect, James von Klemperer included the below highlights in his presentation to the LPC:
- The building would be set back seven feet from the property line.
- The slated building would have direct access to multiple levels of Grand Central, providing an extension of waiting space.
- The concave tile ceiling would recall the spirit of Guastavino.
- The way the building tapers will maximize the amount of light that gets to the street.
